Do I own any MISTAKE ???
An year ago on this day, She received a call from a boy who approached her through a matrimonial site. She picked up the call and lied that she is in a meeting and can't talk right now. Actually, she already got a few calls and messages from his side earlier as well.
That evening she again got a call from his side and they talked for about an hour. Oh! she liked him a little after having a conversation. Gradually, calls extended up-to 3-4 hours and that became the best time of the day.
In his family, there were 5 members like hers. They are 3 brothers and he is in the middle. Oh! what a beautiful co-incidence. Another beautiful co-incidence was same name of their mothers. Initially, they started discussing about families, education, each other's interests, and what kind of life partner are they looking for? They gotta know, their birthday was in the same month, another co-incidence. So many co-incidences. Everything seems so perfect.
As days roll by, he asked her to share more pictures of her. She hesitated a bit but then shared a few. He praised her beauty & insisted to share more as there were only 4 pics, he then added, If you would have asked to share my pics, I would have shared all.
By the next week, he requested for video call, she denied and tried to let away the topic by giving lame excuses but then for the first time they saw each other live. She was hesitating and feeling a bit shy.
Awww.. he looked cute. Fingers crossed, she asked to come on audio call after some 20 minutes out of shyness. He understood, laughed, winked and agreed to make an audio call. Somewhere in her mind, she wanted to peep through the call.
His younger brother was settled in other city and they 4 were living together. Elder one was already married with a son and it was his turn now. Knowing more about him & his family gradually, she got more comfortable as the time passed.
He didn't like to chat much so he only used to drop a text for asking whether they can talk now. One day, he told her that cousins are coming over his place and he will not be able to talk for next few days and will make call whenever he will be free. She chose not to bother him and received his call after almost a week, well that was pretty fine, she understood.
Their birthday month started. She wished him exactly at 12 a.m. They couldn't meet for the celebration because "Ramadan" was approaching. The holy month of Ramadan started & during the whole month, they could only speak to each other before the "sehri" time & that too for a while due to time constraints because he used to offer Tahajjud & then going to take his maid was the part of his daily responsibility due to darkness.
Now, it was her birthday in next 15 days & in the middle of Ramadan month. He started wishing her in advance before a week, & continued after a week of her birthday. It made her blush every time he calls her name. As the month ended, it was the occasion of "Eid" & he couldn't sleep from past 2 days straight because there was a lot of work to do, yeah, he is a very responsible man.
He was very tired, she insisted him to share his pics on the day of "Eid". Late evening, she received 12 pics of a gentle man in Kurta pajama. He was looking tired & pale, oh yeah, he didn't sleep for past 48 hours which was clearly shown on his face.
With each passing minute, she was falling for him more & more. She wanted to ask but never did that when will he speak to his family regarding their wedding. He was her only priority. All she wanted his health, success & prosperity. At the end of the conversation, she never forgot to address his family.
He shared the bad phases of his life like his broken engagement , his sister-in-law left their home & went back to her parent's place. She tried to figure out the reasons behind the mishappening a few times & found he doesn't want to share. She just promised to herself that she will not ask again & will not be a reason to spoil his mood rather will make sure to be a reason behind his smile, his happiness & his success. She was actually seeing her family in him. Gosh!
He never used to talk or chat if he has gone on outing or if guests have come over his place. She knew this & never tried to argue on this, but when she went on a family trip, she made a video call to show up the surroundings. Also, she never had time to edit her own videos but edited his videos in 3 different versions, whatever he likes may keep & discard others. These are nothing but little crazy things you do.
Well, there are numerous small things which used to make her heart shine while speaking to him or even after receiving his messages. Can't say it was love but there was some connection for sure because nobody cries as much as she did once he stopped talking & that too without giving any reason. He just said, he can't see anyone crying, does that mean that she can cry but not in front of him? Only God knows what went wrong between them. Feels as all her prayers went in vain.
She kept begging him to talk but he became stoned. All her calls went unanswered & that was the night when back to back she made 15 calls & he didn't respond. The purpose behind making number of calls was to inform about something very urgent but telling him anything was of no value. He chose to move on without giving reasons but she couldn't resist, left her job because she was lacking concentration. The song which was his caller tune still reminds of him.
The only thing arises in my mind that why people do this & goes away like coward & never make efforts to counter the person. Just don't make others fall for you if you have no intentions to uplift them & it might damage the other person mentally & psychologically. It is really atrocious.
She still hopes him to be happy with whomsoever he is. Wishing happy birthday in advance.
